I actually threw my head back and laughed when I logged onto GGMB this morning. I didn't get to watch it online. I went on to the Georgia highlights because I wanted to watch McCool fall but they hadn't put it in the highlights, lol.

It was SO FUNNY, and it was near the end of the competiion too - I thought they'd make it, it was brillant. I totally laughed out loud.
The irony if HER being the reason they aren't going to nationals, and yet her living with the guilt as she goes as an individual is delicious!

I actually had real-world plans and missed the Super Six! Lame!
I just got done watching the archived version though of course I have no self-control and had to spoil myself. So excited for UCLA!
Aaaaand I just realized I missed/am missing EFs.

When you get chance to see the event finals, come back and talk to me about McCool's EF score on beam. The fuck.

Yes I saw that live and thought "Phew, she won't even medal" - then saw the score on GGMB
WHAT
The ACTUAL fuck?!?!?!?!
As everyone else in the gym world has said - thank GOD for Susan Jackson. Not something I thought I'd ever say, but damn.
I also thought Hollie was raped on UB. Let an un gym-savvy person watch her routine vs. Janiga (who I like, but isn't nearly as interesting/pretty) and see who they pick. I really wanted her to win something, she just seems to have bad luck.
I was most thrilled with McCullough's win on FX - she has my favorite FX routine this year, I like it even better than Anna Li.

Just seeing who's going to be in EFs at Euros is making me excited. I wish Komova would have made bars

Oooo where is there a list? I'm so behind and not paying attention to Euros. Are there vids yet? I heard Komova is doing some awesome stuff and Grishina is doing well - I *love* her! I hope this Russian team wins gold in London, I really do.

I can't find a link with all the qualifiers on, but I know Grishina qualified for bar finals over a point ahead of second place. I think she would have qualified 3rd to the senior final or something. Sidorova and Komova made beam finals, so did Iordache and some random British girl. Iordache, Grishina and Sidorova made floor finals. I didn't know who most the other junior qualifiers were! The senior bars final could be good: 1. Beth Tweddle (GBR) - 15.950 2. Aliya Mustafina (RUS) - 15.200 3. Tatiana Nabieva (RUS) - 14.825 3. Natalia Kononenko (UKR) - 14.825 5. Youna Dufournet (FRA) - 14.675 6. Becky Downie (GBR) - 14.575 7. Ana Porgras (ROU) - 14.075 8. Elizabeth Seitz (GER) - 14.000 1. Ana Porgras (ROU) - 14.950 2. Aliya Mustafina (RUS) - 14.750 3. Raluca Haidu (ROU) - 14.500 4. Elisabetta Preziosa (ITA) - 14.250 5. Valentina Holenkova (UKR) - 14.150 6. Anna Myzdrikova (RUS) - 14.025 7. Yana Demyanchuk (UKR) - 13.950 7. Celine Van Gerner (NED) - 13.950 I have no idea how Myz qualified, but I'm excited to see Porgras and Mustafina on beam. Floor finals are going to be terrible. And I really can't be bothered to find vault

Yeah all I know from vault is that Chusso had a bad day and didn't qualify.
Bars does look good! I LOVE Beth's routine! Her and the Russians and Porgras is all I really care about.
I can't wait to see vids from the Pac Rim competition either, I'll be interested to see what Wieber looks like, bless her.

Russia were amazing. Komova and Grishina were miles better than the rest, they dominated the junior field. The only ones that came close were a couple of the Romanians. Iordache and Bulimar were impressive. We were only five rows during the team finals: Yeah, that's me and my sister... with the Tweds. Mustafina was absolutely awesome. She held the Russian team together. She's absolutely gorgeous too, not fair. Haidu and Racea were tiny and adorable. How the hell are Kurbatova and Racea European champions though?! There were a couple of REALLY scary falls. A Dutch girl fell on the metal pole between the bars and dented it. They had to get a replacement one from the warm up gym. Porgras is injured She was carried off the podium after her beam routine. Youna Dofurnet is lovely to watch. She caught her Def in finals, but her coach touched her and cost her a medal. Pauline Morel is so skinny, it's actually scary to watch. Oooooooo! Sandra Iszbasa sat next to us! Me and my sister were so excited, and were about to ask her for a picture, but she was ushered away to sit somewhere else! The arena was so loud whenever anyone British was up, so we made a point of cheering for the Russians and the Romanians. We got some weird looks. Kononenko was awesome. I'm so glad she got a medal. She was crying during the medal ceremony! But my new favourite is Elisabetta Preziosa. She was incredible. I really thought she was going to get a medal on beam, but then she fell. Not fair, she has everything that I love on beam. Beth was the best on bars, no question about it. But on floor... I swear her toes were oob on her first pass, but there was no flag. But at the end of the routine, the line judge went round to the judges, but there was still no deduction. I really wanted Myzdrikova to win. God, I can really ramble.

And ITA about Beth, she has NO ARTISTRY. Her tumbling is good but her dance is so appalling. It happened at Worlds too that she had the most difficulty so she won.
