Glee! That show is cool.
Emma, do you watch that one British show with the vampire, werewolf and ghost that all live in a flat together? I saw an episode and it looked intriguing.
I also want to see Community with Joel McHale and John Oliver, whom I adore.

Oh, "Being Human"? I watched a couple of episodes of it online, I liked it! But then, I'm always a sucker for things with werewolves in them, and the vampire in that show is SEXY.

Liz, I have no idea what you're talking about LMAO!
I do however watch Charmed. They always put it on at 12am here which adds to the creepy. It is kind of hard to take the main charatcer seriously though, cuz she has these weird dreams and wakes up panting and gasping at least 5 times an episode.

Hahaha, I totally had a Charmed phase in middle school. And yeah the show is called "Being Human", it's on BBC America so I'm guessing it's a BBC show? I totally heart the nerdy werewolf.

For most of my childhood and adolescence, my largest impression of British culture was a show from the BBC called Keeping Up Appearances. I'm still disappointed that more of you don't have huge blue hair.

Well, I haven't met all that many Brits in real life, maybe lots of them DO have huge blue hair, but it's a closely-guarded secret of the nation. Like, see, most of America is fat, yes? But most of our celebrities are skinny. So just because the British people we see on TV have normal-tinted hair, it doesn't mean that's a real reflection on its citizens.

Oh, I didn't mean Keeping up Appearances, although that is something I have watched. I meant the one in the department store. With the big blue hair lady. Can't remember what it's called, but it was pretty awesome when I was eight.

There it is! It's called "Are You Being Served." That lady was my idea of the UK.

^ they look like Dame Edna Everage hahaha!
There are fatties in the UK, obviously. Portion sizes here are a lot smaller than America in general though.
We don't have a bible belt either, we just have an even buttering of crazies everywhere.

I've recently started watching Everybody Hates Chris, that's pretty funny.
Emma what are good BBC shows I could watch? I want to watch more British TV. I tried getting into Dr. Who but I keep watching them out of order and they make my head hurt.

QI is a must, it's amazing. Have I Got News for You is a panel game about news topics of that week and is HYSTERICAL. Doctor Who is good, so keep with that. The british (and original) version of The Office is superior in my opinion to the American one. Life of Mars is a show that is similar to Doctor Who, kind of sci fi and very good. This man gets into a car crash in 2006 and wakes up in 1980-something and it explores the differences whilst also having Doctor Who-like drama. A Bit of Fry and Laurie reruns still come on sometimes, it's an old comedy show Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry used to do... v. funny.
lol hope you enjoyed my essay
