I went to see the film with friends before December and enjoyed it, so a friend bought me the book for Christmas. Just got round to finishing it and am now a legitimate emotional wreck. Cried continuously throughout the last section and in parts that were way, way even before the ending, and in trying to explain the plot to someone today began to get teary.
I need compassionate leave from school I couldn't even stop thinking about it and weeping
It is SO GOOD
Counselling session please

Right?!
It IS so good, I loved the book and absolutely refuse to see the movie, because I'm sure it's worse. I don't approve of the actor they got for the main role.
I felt that way after Harry Potter ended, lol.

I love the Time Traveler's Wife! And yeah, I haven't seen the movie either, but I'll probably find it illegally posted online somewhere and watch that out of curiousity eventually. I really do like Rachel McAdams, she's a total girl-crush of mine.
I'm also reading that author's newest book right now, but I haven't gotten very far in it yet.
