Okay so I stalk ummmm follow celebrities and such on Twitter, and notice that X-factor is seems to be a big deal in the UK. Why? And what exactly is it? We had a version here once upon a time but I never watched.

It's our version of American Idol, so it's just as big as that. AI is really popular in the US, right?

I think it's a bit rubbish tbh. But yeah, it's the same as American Idol, but groups can audition.

Ohhh okay. Yeah American Idol is a big deal here, I was thinking X-factor was more like fear factor or had something to do with Ultimate Fighthing, lol. I wish groups could audition on AI, I'd watch more.

It kind of is like Fear Factor sometimes, but for the audience...It's painful to watch.

Another Question: WHY did David Tennant leave Doctor Who? I was just getting into it and all, and then he ups and leaves. LAME. I'm not excited about the new guy although I'm sure I'll watch. Also, why didn't they kill Rose? I can't stand her.
Speaking of, there was a phrase someone said on a doctor who episode recently I didn't understand...involving the words jack/lad (not dirty, lol),

I miss him already! The new guy looks like Frankenstein. No where near as fun to look at.
Was it someone being called "Jack the lad"?

www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Jack%20The%20Lad - I take it to mean something slightly more jokey that than, but eh. Just like a typical bloke. And David left because he wanted to, lol. He'd been there 4 years. David was the 10th doctor (I think), so it's common that they change.

I know, but jeez. SO selfish, wanting to pursue other things.

Speaking of British tv shows, I heard on Bob and Sheri the other day that Britain is really big into reality tv stars? Like, someone named Jordan, especially?
